WELCOME TO... A PEACEFUL BIRTH! The birth of your baby is one of the most important moments that you will ever experience and comprehensive childbirth education is an absolute necessity. I teach private classes on varying days of the week at your home or mine. As well as being a Childbirth Educator, I am also a Doula or Professional Labor Assistant. A Doula or Labor Assistant is a person who provides loving emotional and physical support during labor and birth of your child. A Doula is there for you 100%. She does not work for the doctor or hospital, she works for you! I have taken pictures, gotten food, massaged, comforted, used acupressure, advised, supported and written many a birth story while doing my job. I am a Certified Childbirth Educator with CAPPA - Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association and a certified doula with DONA. I am also an enrolled student with Ancient Arts Midwifery Institute and the Michigan School of Traditional Midwifery.
